This survey won't fulfil the entire Telangana people's opinion. Who knows about this survey? How many people have computers? Atleast knows to access? Where can they go? In library? It won't free? Where is money? There is not time to go for library to read the newspaper to know about the survey and participate! That time they use for food. Only few are there to participate!

In India,populationwise,the average district is bigger than most countries in the world.so small states shall focus fully concentration on their resources available to their solve out their own problems,as todays 3/4 of man power and 3/4 land is not being used for the development.

It's just a political stunt by set of corrupt & selfish politicians to meet their political vested interests. In the process, they are wasting public money & wealth in terms of recurring expenses in crores by elections, agitations, protests, obstruction to productivity and civil administration. All this is collateral waste and the same is nothing but out hard earned money paid in the form of direct & indirect taxes. Telegana issue is created by politicians and they made this issue because of their inability to compete and excel in professional way. This is basically divide and rule and nothing else. KCR can not decide the fate of AP and it is people of entire AP to decide. If we accept this type of narrow approach, our entire country will be divided into 1000 states. It is his power hungriness and narrow vision of politicians trying to exploit emotional issues. We unable to find difference between KCR and Raj Thakary and they are crooked politicians. Hyderabad is able to get attention because it is state capital of AP and govt centralized the development to Hyd region & teleganan region and neglected other regions because of Hyderabad development. Other regions should demand the separate state not telegana. So far no other regions objected the Govt when they developed hyderabad region. Last 15 years, all Govts invested more than rs 2 lakh crores in infrastructure development in and around Hyderabad and neglected other backward regions in the state such as drought prone areas like Anatapur districts with per capita income in these districts is less than Rs 10000/per annum. After spending so much money on development of Hyderabad, the local leaders wants get red of other leaders and wants to control the region. If teleganan people think they are underdeveloped because of other regions, be ready to pay the compensations for other regions because of negligence of their regions in last 15 years. If people of teleganana want a separate state, properly compensate the other regions before considering the separation.
This scenario occurred because of narrow approach by TDP Govt to develop Hyderabad as only one destination for the entire AP. Anyway TDP paid the price for the blunder made by its leaders.
People should realize the political motto behind some parties like BJP and TRS and by raising this issue they can play vote bank politics in the telegana region.
Hyderabad development impact is visible in and around 100 to 150 KM.
If new state forms, following they will lose:
• Costal Infrastructure for export sand Import.
• Energy resources like Gas and Petrol from KG Basin.
• It becomes land locked state
• Region may face rice shortage
• Investments and skill sets will migrate to costal andhra
• Hyderabad will be become a history like cities- Indore, Gwalior and Patna.
People should think logically on the development of the different regions and compare per capita income in other regions and should not be mislead by KCR for power.
This survey should be more complete and should also include some questions regarding the status of hyderabad.

The gentle men who are behind this survey should be first congratulated. The leaders who are fighting for a separate state are real vilans. There is no need for any survey when the above problem is rectified. But my support is always towards a unified state.

1. First thing i would like to know "Who are asking separate state for Telangana" it seems only political parties are fighting eachother with that stunt.
2. In Andhra Pradesh all are speaking telugu so we have to be formed as one state and get funds more from national govenment.

Who are supporting separate state "Is they know what are the action points to improve telangana in devlopment prospective" lets take an Ex: KCR is asking for separate state for Telangana from 4 years onwards why can't he is focusing devlopment of that area with the same issue(since he was the part of UPA government nearly 2 years) what he did for telangana on his ministry in UPA government.

In the above comments who were against telanga i think they forgot History. At the time Rajakar movement these dirty andhra people refused Telangana people to enter into the andhra region. Now they are enjoying all the resources of telangana. That is why they don't want to have separate Telengana. Now everybody know that Kadapa is a developed district because of YSR. in my opinion, telangana people are being exploited for centuries by Nizams and then by Andhra & Rayalaseema people. If u look at the history, the purpose of making hyd. as capital of AP is because andhra and rayalaseema people don't have money, infrastructure to conduct their own governance after breaking from Tamil Nadu. It is with this pretext, they wanted telangana to be included in AP. Ofcourse, education wise telangana is weaker than andhra because of the Nizams. Otherwise things would be different. Telangana would have an independent state like Maharashtra & Karnataka. Still telangana area & people are being exploited. I think all the telangana leaders should come forward leaving their parties/chamchagiri to Congress leaders and try for separate state inlcuding Hyd. Congress leaders are big cheaters, starting from Nehru, who promised for separate andhra (andhra + rayalseema) from Tamil Nadu, but in vain, it took some years to form from pre-independence to post-independence. Even now Congress leaders are giving baseless assurances.
Any how in my opinion this poll won't give clear picture at all, as it is a highend survey requiring computer, net, etc. and only educated people can participate. If the Society conducting this survey needs real picture, let them date to visit villages and get the real survey. My dear telangana brothers, I red some the comments posted here. One fool written like Hyderabad had good infrastructure in 1950’s because of that it became AP state capital, which was not true. Nizam put condition that time. Here many people writing comment with out knowledge. Separate State will create many problems; we are unable to solve existing problems. Separate state just for politicians benefit not for common people. Development needs every where, not only in telangana. Who ever demanding separate state they were ministers before, what they did for US. If KCR get minister when he was in TDP, he may not create this problem. Don't believe these politicians. If our region not developing means, our leaders are inefficient. Where is the development? Only in Hyderabad. Babu spend more money on hyd development, he focus more on hyd. Many people migrated to hyd, who want to lose Hyd. Babu neglected rural development. No body ready to do that, mostly corporate people. They invested lot of money and started their HQ. They are opposing separation. If you see all the regions few costal districts are developed, they made irrigation system in 1930’s, it is not new for them. Anatapur dt is very worst dt in AP. Every body is talking about our place because we have sentiment. Now we are in globalization era, at least we educated people should think what our people need. Our people need economical development. Now YSR spending more money for development activities, but most part he is spending in kuddapa dt. He is not good CM, he is a corrupted CM.
There are many problems with political parties, there are more than 15 separate state demands, if govt give all states it will create national integrity problem. You know what is happening in Maharashtra. If political parties increase, political stability will gone, that is problem for Indian economy. FACT-
elangana has been backward for quite some time. The major problem is that it is a drought prone area and there is no surface irrigation source with the result irrigation is dependant on some tanks that are the major source of water. There is disparity in development between northern and southern Telangana. Five districts of southern Telangana, such as Ranga Reddy, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda, are in low rainfall area. But in the northern parts, the rainfall is higher, irrigation projects came there and ground water exploitation is also high. The result is a tremendous growth of agriculture in northern Telangana. Actually Telangana as a whole, has no meaning; one has to look at north and south.

I do not think there is state in India named after a region (Andhra). If any of you are sincere look at the state map and open you r eyes and watch how many miles Krishna river passes through Mhaboobnagar dist and see how many hectors of land is getting its water. Vist any of the remote village in this district and see whats going through the common telaganates. i am not saying separate Telagana will solve all these issues, but certainly will help to focus more on the region.
SEPERATE TELANGANA IS A GREAT POLITICALA LOSS FOR A.P. We can do no development to our people. We Become like Orissa or N.E. states. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE!!!
I welcome your effort and concern for our State and Country as at large.I wish this survey be done by newspapers all over A.P. Which would be comprehensive.Don't get discouraged by negative comments. Do continue to work at positive journalism. Building people. Rescuing the society from the clutches of selfish politicians.It was my long awaited wish to the media to conduct this survey.I would like to give point by point arguments on this Issue.
1. As seperate Telangana State we can have no political hold at the Centre,Delhi, Hence no development. Example North eastern states, kerala with hardly one or two MPs. Hence the need for united Andhra Pradesh.Politically powerful.
2. Seperate Telangan is definitely not the need of the Telugu people. What they want is uniform concentration of development and distribution of resources. You make KCR CM tomorrow he will forget Telengana Issue.
3. What telengana People need is mainly WATER supply and POWER for crops. What Y.S.R has done for the past 4 years is tremendous. I see everywhere canals being dug. And he is focused on Agriculture and water projects. and FREE POWER supply.
4. Though I am from Telengana I have also worked in Rayalaseema and Andra-Coastal. There are districts that have not got rain for past 8 years enough to cultivate crops based on ground water. There was not even a 30 minute continuous rain.
ALL ARE OUR PEOPLE UNITED WE GROW DIVIDED WE FALL.
DRAMA, TRS BIG DRAMA .........
Better that focus on Telangana development, not seperate Telangana state. Why not find the what the exact problem of the Telangana peaple facing..? what their ectual target..? what they are missing now...? So, It's very easy solution to avoid this issue.
Someone has commented that the root cause of separate Telangana issue is political uemployment. It is obvious that we might not have seen this movement if people were given the portfolios of their choice. Telangana is not an alone area that is backward in entire Andhra Pradesh. There are several places, where people walk miles togather to get a pot of water. All this issue is simply a political gamble and this has brought up the differences in the people with in the state. I have many friends who are from the backward areas of Telangana. Everyone said the samething that its just a political gamble and no one is really interested in getting a separate state.
Separate state creates lot of redundant political positions, which is very cost affective and I don't think it is going to create any additional employment for the common umemployed people. It requires honest rulers than a separate state. Hyderabad is developed with common money and this should become a union territory if it is decided to divide the state. Else, certain amount should be compensated to other regions for relinquishing Hyderabad. Then this new state will go into debts and living here becomes hectic as government might decide to hike all duties in order to get the revenue. But the moment a separate state is formed, we can see lot more demands to divide AP into further 3-4 parts.
It will be very benificial to anti social elements if they have many states. They can cross the boarders so easily and unfortunately, our rules would not permit the law and order protectors to cross their territories and also we don't have any common force to act on these.
So, at the end I feel that the solution is to concentrate on Telangana's development, offer special packages and give more encouragement than a separate state.

we need it... as this region peoples are betroyed by another regions people.. we want our water our jobs and our lands.
The so-called upper castes like REDDY,VELAMA,VYSYA,BRAHMIN,YADAV AND GOUDS etc have been socio-economically and politically dominant in the Telangana region.Many of these caste families are Land-Lords by acquiring hundreds of acres.The backward sections in this region have been deprived of lands, education and employment oportunities.
Now,Can i argue that-
In the absence of Andhra,Seema people, the backward sections of TELANGANA like OBCs,SCs,STs have been looted and exploited by the upper caste Telanganites?.Its very convincing argument.Isin't it?Then,certain sections of Telanganites have been deprived the living rights by their Brethren sections.Where is the exploitation by ANDHRA,SEEMA PEOPLE IN THIS CONTEXT.I mean,Exploitation and looting is existing without Non-Telanganites too.Then,why separate Telangana then.Is it to perpetuate the age-old exploitation among yourselves only.?
Ironically,the two significant movements are led by the upper caste leaders like Chenna Reddy[TPS] and KCR[TRS][VELAMA].Where is the guarantee for Socio-Economic-Political Justice to the deprived sections under the leadership of these people?.It requires a separate constitution for Telangana which is utopea in the Indian context.
In the light of Telanganites exploiting certain sections of Telanganites,the so-called looting of Non-Telanganites is negligible.The Non-Telanganites dominant presence is in Hyderabad only.
Some are arguing that-
Telangana dialect has been sullied by the Andhra-Seema ones.
Srikakulam dialect has been humiliated by the same Andhras.
GODAVARI dialect has been bullied by KRISHNA,GUNTUR people too.Are they demanding for separate state?Is separation the solution for this trivial quarrels?

Separation is not the real answer. No matter who rules and what geographical boundaries we have, the development will not automatically happen unless the rulers are genuine. When there is genuineness in the rule, the borders are a non-issue.
In fact, de-centralization of authority and accountability from top most level to the bottom most level is necessary in the administration, not the separate state when some vested interests want it.

and one person is telling that no rice for telangana state, if it is saparated, one thing i want to clear that fellow, how your are justifying 100% rice production for AP state is only from andra area. Onething, the main rivers krishna and godavari are almost touch all telangana regions, if this is got sapareted, they will have aright to use water as per central water tribunal orders, this will leads around 30-40% of agricultrual area comes to cultivation.
